Maryam Pishgar

Co Founder

Maryam Pishgar is a PhD candidate, data scientist, statistician, engineer, artist, and co-CEO and co-founder of Solix Services. For Maryam, data is not just numbers. When analyzed, data helps businesses advance in profit and sales.

​

Maryam has over twelve years of experience engaging with real-time healthcare big data and the application of artificial intelligence in industries such as construction, transportation, and agriculture. She has worked closely with a team of medical professionals at UI Health to create predictive models for decision making in healthcare.

​

Maryam also studies artificial intelligence to see how it can be applied within new sectors  to improve workers’ health and safety. To create better modelling results for companies,  she has developed an innovative pre-processing algorithm which makes raw data more meaningful, leading to more accurate predictions. She leverages expertise in management and data to strategically guide professionals in healthcare and business .

Maryam received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Industrial Engineering and Management Systems from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). She constantly utilizes and develops her knowledge and frequently attends conferences to stay at the cutting edge of her field.  She is a member of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP), and her publications can be found on Google Scholar.

Maryam’s father is the owner of Mahan, an Iranian exports and investment company , and her mother is a mathematician . Maryam continues her parents’ legacy in business and mathematics with her work at Solix where she brings together data analysis, management skills, and a love for solving challenging problems.

Martha Razo

Co Founder

Martha Razo is a writer, actress, mathematician, pallet expert, salesperson, philanthropist, entrepreneur, and co-CEO and co-founder of Solix Services. She believes that with data-driven solutions a company can achieve real growth. Martha experiences the power of data in her own work at Guero's Pallets, Inc., where she oversees daily operations as CEO. Martha has a Bachelor’s and a Master’s from the Illinois Institute of Technology and she is currently pursuing her PhD in Industrial Engineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) with a focus on data mining and process mining.

Martha is the founder of the 2% Fund, a nonprofit whose mission is to increase undocumented students enrolled in higher education through financing and mentorship. In 2019, she co-authored My Dream Fund, a one-woman show about her story and how she overcame barriers as an immigrant to become the successful entrepreneur and educated, powerful woman she is today.

Martha has eight years of business experience and over six years’ experience analyzing big data and artificial intelligence. She brings tools for interpreting and analyzing business data and a strong foundation of what it takes to run a business. Her publications can be found on Google Scholar .
